Hi! I’m Brooke Evers, a professional soprano and longtime music teacher based in the Washington, D.C. area. I’ve been teaching voice, choir, and piano since 2005, working with students of all ages and experience levels. I spent 15 years on the Voice Faculty at Shepherd University, and I’ve also taught in both Berkeley and Washington County Public Schools. Teaching is a huge part of who I am—I love helping people grow as musicians and find their unique voice.
As a performer, I’ve had the chance to sing at some pretty amazing places like the Kennedy Center, National Cathedral, Strathmore Mansion, and even in Europe as a Fulbright Scholar studying German Art Song in Vienna. I’ve performed everything from classical to jazz to musical theatre, and I enjoy bringing that variety into my teaching.
At Eversong Studios, I combine my performance background with nearly two decades of teaching experience to create a supportive, encouraging space where singers can build confidence and enjoy the process of making music.
